These line cards feature two open bays (bay 0 and bay 1) for ASR 9000 Series Modular Port Adapters (MPAs), enabling operators to select ideal port density, speed, and optics. The portfolio includes the 20-Port 10GE MPA, 2-Port 100GE MPA, 1-port 100G and 2-port 100G MPA, and MACSec-enabled 32-port 1GE MPA. Modular line cards support diverse applications such as video on demand, IPTV, point-to-point video, Internet video, and cloud computing, while delivering scalable, line-rate Ethernet and IP/MPLS edge services.
