The Cisco ASR920-UPOE License unlocks Universal Power over Ethernet (UPOE) capabilities on the Cisco Network Convergence System (NCS) 4202 Series, derived from the robust ASR 920 platform. Aging TDM infrastructure is costly; the NCS 4201/4202 with ASR920-UPOE license meets legacy TDM needs while transitioning to packet networks. Features dense TDM CEM over protected Flex LSP, central office modernization for DCS/ADM migration, compact footprint with power/cooling savings. Supports wide TDM, PDH, SONET/SDH, Carrier Ethernet interfaces.
