Unlike Shared Port Adapters (SPAs) used with SPA Interface Processors, EPAs are exclusively compatible with the ASR1000-MIP100 and do not support built-in Ethernet ports on fixed line cards. The modular design occupies the slot of the SPA interface processor, enabling flexible high-speed Ethernet deployment.
