The QFX5230-64CD-AFO Switch offers up to 400GbE interfaces to support high-speed, high-density, spine-and-leaf IP fabrics. Prime use cases include AI data center networks with AI/ML workloads where scalability, performance, and low latency are critical. This front-to-back airflow (AFO) model features 64 QSFP56-DD ports and 2 SFP+ ports in a fixed 2RU chassis.

Hardware Highlights

Fixed 2U form factor with dimensions 3.43 in (H) x 17.4 in (W) x 25.6 in (D), weighing 55 lb fully loaded. Dual hot-swap PSUs (1+1 redundancy) with JNP-3000W-AC-AFO, max power 1396 W (avg 498 W). Four hot-swap fans (QFX5230-64CD-FANAO) providing 495 CFM front-to-back airflow.

Architecture & Performance
